Homemade PowerPoint Games: This website gives you tones of games to use that are made through Powerpoint. I also like how it gives you a link to make your own game through out the website. I think these would be great to use especially of you have a SMART board because the children can be interactive when playing the game.

TwHistory: This website to use when teaching history. I really like how it is broken up in to different years so you can find exactly what you are look for. This is a great website and I think I will be able to teach my students many different things about history that are not in the history books.

The only thing I would worry about is if the information is correct. I think it would be a good website to use but I do feel i would use it in moderation just because I would not want to teach my students incorrect information.

http:2pointohteaching.blogspot.com: This is a good website to use to get ideas for lesson plans. I think I could incorporate many of these ideas into future lesson plans.

education.iupui.edu/webquests/math/index.htm: I really like the Ask Dr. Math idea. I think this could be a very useful idea to use in the classroom. I also like how the websites talk about all different areas of math so you can use it throughout the year.

Voki: I think this would be a good tool to use if you are going to be absent and have a sub. You could record what you want the students to do and also make sure the directions are correct.

Freetech4teachers.com: This is a good website to use and look for different resources to use in the classroom

http://www.educationworld.com/a_tech/tech/tech005.shtml : I really like the clip art section of this website. I think it will be very useful when adding clip art to worksheets and anything and everything else.

http://projecthelp.wikispaces.com/Music+Resources: This will be a great website to use when I play music to transition between activities and also to add a calming effect when students are doing work.

answers. com: This will be a good website to use as a resource for students and myself. Also this would be fun to do as an opening to class. You could ask the students a new questions from this website.

intel.com: this website I did not really understand and do not think I will use this in the classroom compared to the other websites I have been shown this week.

How to use Digital Storytelling in your classroom

I think this is a very good tool to use in the classroom. I think I can use Digital Storytelling in many different lesson I teach in the classroom. I also think I would be something fun for students to make as part of an assignment.

Evaluating Information Found on the Internet

2. I have learned what is important when using websites as sources for papers.

3. I can teach my students the main things to look for when considering an internet source. I think this is very important to teach you student because they need to know that anyone can put anything on the internet and say they are facts, when they might not be.

I read it on the computer, it must be true.

2. I learned how to tell if something is true or not when looking up information on the internet. It is important to really look at the information and see if you can really tell where this information came from. For example it says it is from a newspaper article, how do you know it is from a newspaper article?

3. I can teach my students that everything on the internet is not true. It is very important to teach my students what signs tell if you can really trust the information from this website. I think may students believe everything they read on the internet. We as teachers need to teach them that this is not true and there are may people out there putting up what every they feel like and not facts.

2. Before reading this article I have never heard of Yahooligans. The article mentioned using ask jeeves and as a kid I never liked using ask jeeves.

3. I think I can us Yahooligans in may different ways in my classroom. I think when teaching them how to navigate the internet I will show them Yahooligans. I love how they have games as well so they can search the internet and play games.

2. What do you think about it

- I think it is very interesting that the meaning of literacy has change so much in the years. When I first read this article I thought literacy was about the your reading level, but now after reading this article I can see how literacy relates to technology.

3. How will you apply it

- I can apply the information I learned to my classroom in many ways. Learning the importance of technology I will make sure my students use technology as much as possible. I will make fun assignments using the internet because learning how to navigate the internet is a very important skill for my students to learn.

- Constructivist teaching incorporates students’ communities as the context for learning. This allows students to express and develop their understandings with peers.

Learning the different views of constructivist and behaviorist I think I will take a little from each so that my students get the best of both worlds and I meet more students needs
